A builder in the room before the plans are locked, so the design, the site and the budget all agree with each other.

For clients starting from scratch, whether the land is bought or still being looked at. Off the shelf designs don't fit unusual sites, and volume builders won't take on the complexity. We manage the whole thing, first sketch to key handover, with one point of accountability. Adam is personally involved in every project and every tender is fixed price, so the number is known before anything is committed to.
For clients who already have an architect and need a builder who can execute the design properly. Ambitious designs get quietly value engineered down when the builder isn't equipped for the detail. We protect the design intent instead, from bespoke framing through to fine joinery and finish. Sixty-eight years of local trade relationships is what makes that possible on this coast.
Sometimes the land, the street and the view are right and the house isn't. We manage demolition through to a new custom home on the same block, which on sloping and coastal sites is rarely as simple as it sounds.
Standard builds tend to ignore climate and orientation, and the owner pays for it every month for thirty years. We think about passive solar, breeze paths, northern aspect, view corridors and the western sun from the first sketch, not as something added on at the end. Solar, water harvesting and material choices suited to a harsh coastal environment follow from there. Comfort and running costs matter more over the life of a home than the build cost alone.

Not sure where to start? Before you commit to plans, it's worth knowing what your site and budget can realistically deliver.
No, and starting there often costs people money. Getting a builder involved while the design is still taking shape is the cheapest way to keep the budget and the drawings pointing at the same thing.
Yes. A good portion of our work is executing someone else's design without watering it down.
Yes. Difficult sites are the work we enjoy most, and we've spent decades on the specific constraints of this region.
We manage the DA and CC process on your behalf. We know the Mid Coast Council DCP and LEP well, which matters most on constrained sites.
Fixed price is always where we start. Everything is agreed and open book up front so both sides know exactly where they stand.
Our office is at 13 Cornwall St, Taree, and we build within about an hour of it: Wingham, Gloucester, Harrington, Hallidays Point, Tallwoods Village, Forster-Tuncurry, Pacific Palms, Blueys Beach, Boomerang Beach, Camden Haven, Wauchope, Sovereign Hills and Port Macquarie.
Sixty-eight years in one region buys a specific kind of knowledge. We know the Mid Coast Council DCP and LEP. We know which land floods and which sits in a bushfire zone, what the soil tends to do before the report comes back, and how quickly the coastal air finds the wrong materials. We know where the afternoon sun lands and where the breeze comes from, street by street.
